Bruce Krebs presents and comments on the creation of a sculpture entitled:

The ostrich.
a work of Bruce Krebs.

In french the expression "faire l'autruche " (Doing the ostrich) is translated in english by « Turn a blind eye », not to see the danger.
In France, it is the posture which we attribute gladly to the animal.
That's not the case.

Never an ostrich has put its head in the sand to escape a danger !

This sculpture is a fantasy.
A woman hides the head (and the arms) in the sand whereas an ostrich, going that way, ignores her totally...

Height: 21 cm, Length: 15cm, Width: 11.5 cm.
